Well, I've found that there's always a source of trouble, whether it's marriage or family or finances or failing treatment. What I mean is that I understand your present troubles, but troubles can come from anywhere. The thing is to keep realizing that you're still attractive and desirable so don't deny yourself a chance for happiness just because a few people don't know how to behave. Keep grieving. Don't think you shouldn't. The grief guidelines are that the process should run for 5 years so indulge yourself.

Well it sucks you didn't or don't have a good relationship with the family.

I hope the relationship with your husband was worth it though regardless of "them".

Marriage is worth it for me anyway and I am fortunate to have a wonderful extended family through my husband, Hell they are better than my own family!
