This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I completely hear ya on the cleaning thing. I can't stand it when I clean and clean and clean....and then someone (including me) comes along and trashes the room (or rooms). Then I'm just too damn tired and I don't want to do it again!
I used to sleep my life away, but now I'm just awake and I don't really do anything. It's very boring to be me.
I try to do at least 1 thing a day, so I can say that I was productive. Something is better than nothing, right? I'm not encouraging you to sleep your days away, but sometimes, we just can't manage to do anything else.
I'll be awfully surprised if I don't have sleep apnea. I can't take living like this much longer. It bothers me that the rooms are dirty and I feel too tired to do anything about it right now.
Plus I think about my many hobbies a lot but I don't even have the energy to do those either. You know it's bad if you can't even stay awake to enjoy your hobbies.
here's trick for resetting your body clock. Get up early in the morning & get direct sunlight in your eyes for a few minutes.
But I get you on just wanting to sleep. I go to bed earlier than my kids most nights and when I wake up and see the house is trashed, some days I just go back to bed and sleep.
I don't mind doing dishes, laundry, cooking you know 'mom' stuff. But I hate that they expect me to do everything. They act like newborn helpless kittens. The youngest is nearly 7, oldest at home is nearly 14. They can put their dirty clothes in the hamper. They can put their dirty dishes in the sink. They need to quit leaving trash and food around. All the mess really makes me in a sucky mood.
I wish I knew what to say that would help :(
