I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

I'm here if you need to chat
I absolutely know how hard school is. I remember in the spring of my 3rd year I just about threw in the towel. I truly felt I was losing my marble. One of my daughters is going through the exact same thing although she is not bipolar. That prolonged stress of constantly feeling that there is more reading or more studying you should be doing can be crippling.
I'm not clear what's going on with your mom but she's probably scared to death -- even though she shows it in an odd way.
Is your financial aid just delayed or is there some reason you won't be receiving it? Did you have something special planned for your holiday that you won't be able to do now?
I love tearing around with my hubby and daughters when we get a chance to all be together. But .... in all honesty .... it isn't really the best for me. Sometimes I would be better off just chillaxing.
Hang in there!
Gina im here for you
I'm in school, and It has taken me 6 years part time to stop stressing out about each paper and exam. Well, not true, I have 2 papers on my desk top right now, and I am afraid to hand them in, in case I don't get A+. Not sure what I could do even if I knew they weren't what this prof wants. So breathe deep and be proud of yourself that you are doing school, and make a few phone calls to track down the money.
You don't have to feel suicidal each time something overwhelms you. Instead, use it as a learning experience for coping skills. Of course, good of me to lecture from my old dotage, when you are raw and hurting and young.
What I wouldn't do to be in my 20's again. But NEVER a teen. Pass on that one. Hugs and hope you feel better soon.

YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
for being in school for 3 solid weeks, that is way hard, I understand that. You have to get some type of advocate for you. Is there anyone at college who you can become friends with?? Again, I feel so helpless to do anything but words. I am praying and love you to pieces. Wish you were in California. Message me if you wish to talk. I am praying for you and love you. Jen
Kind of like going through all of it all over again.
Only worse.
Mush, damn it, you've made it for so long. All these years you've endured it.
I hope you don't throw it all away, now. You're so much closer to getting away from them, mush. If you can just stick it out for a while longer -- no matter how endless that will seem -- the day will come when you don't have to live with constant reminders of what you've suffered, nor be put through more shit now, because of it.
I'm very ashamed of your mother and how she reacted to your bringing up the abuse sickens me. I suppose she thinks that the terrible 'secret' and your being suicidal are reflections on her as a mother. Pity that her shame and guilt block the love that she has for you and stops her from getting you the help and support that you need..
I get that she won't face what she should because of her own weakness and dysfunction, but I hate to see you have to live with the lie in order to find any kind of acceptance from the one person who, more than anyone else, should love and protect you.
You're so much closer to getting out of there, mush.
Getting away won't erase all that has and is happening to you.
But it will make things better than they are now.
I'm sorry that your life is so hard right now, mush.
REALLY sorry. You've had enough to put up with.
Blah. Sorry that school requires such a commute, too.
And sorry that it looks like your holiday plans are dashed.
(((((Hugs)))))
Hope you are feeling a little better now.
