If I was in that situation, I would ask to speak with the person privately and simply tell them that you find those kinds of remarks hurtful and ask them straight out, if they will refrain from doing it anymore.
Now a lot of times, what you will get back is defensiveness. "I didn't mean anything by it." or something on that order.
That's fine. But it's not the point. So if they DID say something like that to me, I'd repeat my request that they not do it any more and say, "So will you not do it anymore?"
It would take a real jerk to refuse your request. And should they prove to BE that much of a jerk, strongly consider cutting them out of your life as much as possible. You don't need to open yourself up to feeling like you've been kicked in the stomach!!!

I thought about pulling her aside and if it happens again i will( i cant say oh two days ago u said sumthing that hurt me bet she wont remember it. as its not a big thing to her just a remark)
as I said i think she honestly has no idea thats she hurting me so bad and I really think she doesn't understand how to deal with it.
im sure to many its scary..I mean she has known me since 14 and im 22 now we r just becoming good friends to the point she can see my weak spot..so she mite be abit freaked out that this girl she known for 8 yrs has had all this going on in her head but she never knew a thing..I dont no i really hope she understands and stops as i would hate to cut her out of my life on the simple fact she doesn't understand..Thanks ya'll really helped make me think that i was rite in my first thought to pull her aside
