I've been on lithium for about 6 yrs and just this last year or less added a small dose of prozac. i feel like my memory is sooo hazy which sucks cuz I love details so I find myself asking people the same question. Also I used to be able to multitask but find now even if I ask someone a question unless I'm focused on it I can't retain their answer...

So I totally feel ur pain


Oh and about 6 yrs ago I tried lamictil and it didn't work so I don't think my time on it would be enuf for side effects.

I take lamictol too and at first I did too forget but the longer your on it it should clear up some. It's really a good medication.

I do not know if for me its the Lamictal for my gabapenten but I have forgotten my bills too and have not done that in years.

I was on Lamictal for 23 months and had the forgetfulness big time as well as lots of irritability, insomnia(non stop), joint pain, neck discomfort, and extreme insulin sensitivity. I had notes taped all over my counter top and fridge as reminders. Very often I'd open a drawer to remove something and then with the drawer opened I'd have no idea why I even opened it. I'd close it, open it, close it, then either finally remember or just give up. All those things went away after discontinuation, but the forgetfulness took about a month or so to clear up fully.
