My son and I live with his paternal grandma. She's become a hateful person and apparently she's losing her mind. I was was watch tv and she came out of her bedroom all angry because she claims that around 2am the police came to the door and my son was speaking to them. My son was up in the middle of the night watch a movie because we are having a heatwave here and he couldn't sleep. I asked him is the police came to the door he said, "No."
His grandma claimed she heard us talking to someone at the door. She heard the man at the door ask if we had a dog (we don't). She claims she heard me say, "We don't have a dog. Just a cat." I never spoke to anyone other than my son and no one asked me if I had a dog.
I have had it with this horrible woman. I'm sorry her health is bad but I can't take her. I have my own health to think of, both physical and mental. If she wanted someone to take care of her, she should of treated people better during her lifetime.
I'm looking for a place for my son and I to move. As much as I hate the hassle I can't wait any longer. this woman is getting worse and I will NOT put up with it any longer.
I know I might sound insensitive to her problems but believe me she brought it on herself.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

It certainly sounds like early onset dementia. The anger, rage and her accusations.
My sister and I had to deal with that for years.
Unfortunately , I think it's time for you guys to move on and figure out a place for gramma to live, because before long, she isn't going to be able to handle living alone.
Time to call in her family for assistance
