Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

i just started a couple new meds and im hoping they start working, but i keep feeling depressed and suicidal...i keep waiting for the feeling to pass, but it never does. i stopped going to a lot of my classes and im worried my grades are going to go down soon. i cant seem to find the motivation to go to class, do assignments, or really do anything anymore. i hope things turn around, but lately ive just been losing hope that anything will ever get better. i keep thinking about how many more times i might have to change my meds and how many meds it will take to feel better because the count is almost up to double-digits...im not really sure of anything anymore. looking for advice or anybody who could help...

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I'm not sure the steps a school would take but I imagine illness would a reason to need some time off.... Being pro active might help.
I hope you start to feel better soon..... Big hug.......xo
I don't know if your school has a disability counsellor that really helped me when I was in school sometimes asking for more time to get papers and the like completed. I am helped a lot by getting outside and walking I used my school's track a lot it just helped to clear my head....depression tends to keep me prisoner inside...
