Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Lots of drugs make you feel Worse for the first couple weeks, and might be your best drug yet but you have to get through the introduction period - sorta the opposite of Withdrawl the drug has to get into your system and then when absorbed regularly, it might even out - and then in 3 or 4 weeks, one morning over coffee - you can decide if it makes you feel worse or better...
But the first few days? Don't count! LOL I've had drugs make me physically puking for days, and then worked great for Years!!!
Don't watch farts and burps - if you thinking every hour is it working, it can't work - meds work when you don't notice them!!!
Yes, some people have to settle to be flat instead of arrested or psychotic - but most of us, find a med that works, then tweak it up or down....
Hang in there the first couple weeks!!!! (((BIG HUG)))) it sucks - intro or withdrawal, but when modern science works? It can be a GOOD thing : )
