My advocacy work with cardiac issues (I have AFib) got me noticed by senior folks in the American Heart Association and the Federal Drug Administration.  Well, it really was the vocal advocacy for my care and then for the care of others.  Now, I will be a patient advocate for a new drug coming out that deals with heart health or cardiac treatments.  The exact drug or treatment is secret and I will get the studies and academic articles on this about a week out.  It should be an interesting experience.

No. This is for final drug approval before it goes to the public. So this is something new.

I think people will appreciate having someone to help them through their problems with this drug. I hope that this patient advocate position is something with some teeth to it so as to best use your skills. Good luck to you!

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
