Fight Club? was it about mental illness? Somehow I missed that.

One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest.

One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest is a great movie, but I think it supported the stereotype

I may watch it tonight!

Maybe Fight Club is a little bit of a stretch, but I think it works.

Yeah, it's an old movie from the early 60's and not much was known about Mental Illness. But it's funny as hell.
The one that blew me away was Beautiful Mind. All this time the audience is led to believe he has his buddy with him. And then...POW! we find out he doesn't even exist. It gave me insight into schizophrenia and what it must be like. Very sad.

and a true story to boot; it's so inspiring when at the end he asks a student for a reality check about a hallucination as to whether or not there is another person there. Cried a lot for his inspiration to so many...

Jason & I do that alot because of our radio voices. We'll be walking somewhere and I say "Do you hear that?" He says no, so I know it's a radio voice.

The books is funny as hell, but the movie is so-so.

As Good As It Gets and A Brilliant Mind. Both were so insightful to the daily drama of just living with MI even with treatment.
