Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
And yes, I have also witnessed that morphing you are talking about.
{going out on a limb here}
I think these events reflect the inner person who is showing these weird ugly faces
I'm so sorry that you experience that!!! I hope it stops!!
(You too, dd, although if your theory is correct, that could be quite helpful in judging someone's character!! Has time proved such to be the case?!)

He didn't have an answer for me.
I will hallucinate that people's heads are turned towards me when they are not. Now THAT is scary. I know this now to be psychosis and so I glance and my brain registers their head as not looking at me. It reminds me though of "The Exorcist." This has been going on from the time I was little. No antipsychotic prevents it.
I find that spotting the psychosis when it happens greatly reduces reaction.
