Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

People can't keep taking advantage of you and taking from you if you don't let them. That's a choice you have to make.
Now, there are those of us who like to give and use our talents and skills to give our time to certain groups, i.e. Suicide Hotlines, teen mentoring programs. But we choose to do that and get just as much back from it that we put into it.
So you need to make up your mind whether your going to keep letting people take from you. You also need to decide if your going to seek out programs that can help you get stronger.

oldcp. too has a great suggestion in trying to get in touch with local therapy groups etc and also to avail of ds. I would be lost without my DS family. 1. That stress you've placed upon your shoulders is going to crush you. Get rid of it. You don't need to be perfect, you don't need to please everyone. Place that heavy burden on the ground. Throw it int the sea. Expel it from your being. You will be lighter in mind, body, and soul. Say no without explanation.
