Do not let it get to you! What is crazy? I never claimed to be normal (average) wear it as a badge of honor. In the context of engineering and Design crazy is not a bad thing. I think you may be taking in the wrong sense. When someone says Engineering students and faculty are crazy they simply mean that these individuals are doing things that they could never imagine being able to do, there for only unusual (crazy) people would subject themselves to it. They are not referring to an actual medical condition. Do not be intimidated, embrace your craziness and accomplish great things.

I am the sister to and the daughter of Civil Engineers. You all design roads, buildings, foundations and show us where the courses of rivers will go. You design bridges and base the foundations of that on the type of foundation there is. You know that materials to build things in differing environments, terrain, climate and weather.

Some people are not that smart and they just cannot see that just because someone has an m,i, that somehow that makes them less.

Engineers are the one of the bases of civilization. WE cannot live without people like you and what you do.

My Pdoc even talks about how things get crazy around the office -with filing and appointment overloads etc. It's just another meaning to the word and not meant to be offensive at all.
