Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I was diagnosed 2 years ago in August with Bipolar Disorder.. this road has not been easy. There have been many doctor visits, psych and therapy visits, many almost broken hands, tears (lots of those). Im exhausted, but I've been trying to step back a bit... re-evaluate things, I'm not happy. I think a lot of it has to do with my diet, my weight, and lack of exercise. I'm a full time college student and I work full time. My sleep schedule is up and down, my caffeine intake is high. I know I need to do better it's just hard.
I battle everyday with my mental health. I'm trying my best, but lately I've been defeated.
im doing research currently on different diet options.
send positive vibes my way guys ):

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

It took me a long time to find my 'normal' place as well but you will
I would try and reign yourself into a day or an hour or even a moment at a time for now.... Knowing that you'll be okay for the next half hour or hour is an achievement
Another big hug and a blessing.... xo

I hear you! Being a full time student is not without a lot of wear and tear on the body! Sitting and doing all the studying isn't easy. I know I got a BA in 2011. I found that if I took breaks to do a quick mile walk it helped me...
A reasonable diet? Ugh! Shopping, planning, cooking etc. This is a time when having a full time personal assistant would come in handy wouldn't it?
Best thing I ever did was buy a small wide mouth thermos so I could take a hot meal with me where ever I went. The food choices available to me were not exactly healthy...
I also set out my yoga mat next to my computer as a reminder to stretch once in a while! You are doing something very courageous!
