Empty Again... Again

It's happening far too often now. It's like a weekly thing and it lasts a day or two then I'm less empty for a few more days but I come back to this place. Once upon a time i could cut to make myself feel something or get wasted so I could just pass out but now I can't do anything to make it go away and that sense of having no control is almost as bad as this emptiness. Someone make it go away. Please.

The best thing for the way you are feeling is to get some counseling. I really get upset with people who cut so I'm not a good one to make a rational comment other than that.

I'm in therapy. My doc thinks I really need to get ADs.

Are you comfortable with taking ADs? I know folks take meds when they're pregnant, but only some are safe, right?

I'll bet your hormones are ALL OVER THE PLACE! Mine get wiggidy anytime I'm near my period. But that's Nothing compared to what you're going through. How far along are you, iam?

9 weeks today. I'm hoping I can avoid them at least for the first trimester cos that's when the effects are the worst on the baby. I was actually weighing the pros and the cons of ADs last night and I think I should try to get on them.

All I know is years ago a friend of mine had a horrible postpartum depression with her first child that she was afraid of having anymore. Her doctor made sure and put here on AD's the last trimester of her next pregnancy and she did much much better. Don't know what they do now this was forever ago.

I'm so scared of postpartum and I'm almost certain I'll have it. I'm really, really hoping I can get put on ADs next month and continue on them after the baby is born. What I'm dealing with is terrifying and frustrating. I really don't know how much longer I can do this for without snapping.
