You guys,


Is it possible to emotionless even if you had a burst of emotions a few days ago? I am scared I have lost all of my emotions and compassion. Could my Meds be doing this to me? 


In fights recently my fiance kept saying how I did not care about her feelings anymore. I do care, but I guess I am not showing it? 


I go to my Psych on Friday oct. 1st.. I am not balanced by no means, but cold on the other hand maybe.

Oh, yes! Totally possible, and it Is an actual emotion - it's a kind of analytic apathy, I think. Try not to fret cuz it'll pass just like all our other moods do, sis. :D

Yes I can be pretty flat a lot of the time and for me I'm sure meds are part of it.... xo

Abilify did this to me. Just flat all the time, no laughing, no crying etc...

Different med combos definitely affected emotions - some I was flat on. Some I got variances. I’ve stuck with my current combo and dosage for years now because its been a healthy balance for me. Other times in the past I have needed the combos that left me more flat.

Meds to that to you, it is very scary but don’t feel bad. Your brain is confused, try to do the little things you used to do to show your significant other you care. Don’t lose someone you love and care about over something that you both can fix. Good luck

You've went through a ton of med changes recently, and you're on a lot of strong meds. So yes there are going to be side effects. Remember when I talked about keeping a Diary of your symptoms and side effects? Try to do that because if changes need to be made, they need to know whats happening, when it started or stopped, what started on what day, etc. Be as specific as you can. Several of the meds you're on have the same types of side effects, so the more information you can give your Pdoc, the better.

Hang in there, it may take some time to get the meds adjusted correctly or paired down.

Thats a very good idea keeping a med diary. The docs will take you more seriously in showing such organization and willingness to find the right collaborative solution.
