Part XIX...Its been a long time coming, but after 18 months travelling, meeting a new love, getting married to her and having a subsequent relapse in my condition and learning the hard lessons of what reducing medications might do, we have settled in a new home near my parents place in the Clare Valley of South Australia, where I have finally found stability in my life.
My whole life has been a long journey, but it wasn't until I packed up everything I could and let go of the past, that I could finally move onto a new stage with my life.
Before I did this I had my own bachelor pad in Adelaide city which was a one bedroom apartment that I lived in alone. I really gave the city a go, looking in every corner, not leaving any stone upturned. But after looking for a new life there, looking for friends, love, companionship, education and career, the isolation I felt and subsequent loneliness was unbearable and it came to a point where I could not see any further way forward.
I felt I had two choices, either stay there (where I had a plan to exit this world), or to pack up all my shit and take a giant leap of faith; I took the latter choice and took a leap of faith.
If you have been reading my blog since the beginning, you would know my story, but it wasn't until Book 2 that I really started living again and truly putting the pieces together, taking with me the tools I had learnt to really be able to live.
I'm now in a new home with an adorable, loving, supportive wife and I thank God that I made it through. After everything that has happened, I am happy to embrace the stability I now have in my life with great certainty about the future that everything will just be fine.
It really is exciting times, I have no sign of anxiety that I have felt in the past and I have overcome every objection in my own mind that would have hold me back about any future plans.
Whats next, you may ask?
Time will tell, but I have comfort knowing that the worst is over when it comes to my mental illness, I have control over the reigns and it feels good to know that my recovery journey is going extremely well. There will always be twists and turns, but from now on, the only way is up baby!

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
