Hey guys. I am saddened by the news this morning that Elizabeth Edwards lost her battle with cancer on yesterday. I thought she was a great woman.

It's very sad,the poor woman didn't deserve to go through it especially when she had to go through being married to a cheat and be embarrassed by his behavior.I feel bad for anyone that has to go through a battle with cancer.

I am not a republican but I had great admiration for Elizabeth Edwards and was saddened to hear that she had lost her battle

Rest in peace Elizabeth, she fought a courageous fight against breast cancer that spread to her liver. Such a shame, still had a life to live but was able to say goodbye to all in her life that mattered.

I'm watching Today and they're talking about it right now. I really like how they're saying that it wasn't that she lost, it was just her time to go. There's nothing you can fight like that and still lose. She won. She won years of her life and many moments with her kid.

Death is somber, no doubt, but honorable with this woman.

Tired how true you are . . . I, of all people, picked a bad choice of words as she fought one hell of a battle and in the end she actually did win it

My mother lost her brave fight with stage 4 breast cancer May 31 of 2009. It was a horrible, cruel death. I feel for Mrs. Edwards family and for her. May she find peace.

I admired Elizabeth Edwards and have since she came onto the political scene. She was a larger woman and didn't apologize for being who she was. I can not even imagine what she felt like when her son was killed and to have more children after his death showed that love is the most powerful thing in the universe. At least now she is with her son Wade. She was an inspiration and didn't deserve to be betrayed by her husband.
