I'm not sure what is going on. I'm taking my Lithium as prescribed, as well as my anti-depressant, but lately I don't care. I'm feeling really apathetic and I can't find anything that makes me laugh. And that is scary, because I am the most sarcastic person I know.
I'm trying to watch things that usually make me laugh and it's not helping.
I also can't sleep. It's a big change from recent events. I could get maybe 4-5 hours a night a few weeks ago, but not now.
I see my Doc in about a week and a half. I just want to last that long.
I just feel sad, and I don't know how to get out of that feeling.

I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

anyway, my experience of lithium was that it wasn't so great with depression - even if we added an antidepressant to the mix.
Bipolar doesn't always stand still and sometimes things either stop working or things need to be adjusted or maybe something added. You've done the right thing to set up an appointment - my suggestion would be to post a bit on the main board to get some feeling of belonging and maybe support.
