I get some energy, than its gone! Its weird.
I started taking a safe herbal med called Melatonin that works for me on some nights. Give it a try, it takes a while to work, just like all these crazy meds we have to take but hopefully it will work for you.
In the hospital I was on trazadone and adavan it made me constantly wake up and have night mares and hallucinations. Trazadone alone does nothing. Adavan does help me relax but not sleep.
But I'm more worried about sleeping too much but I do have periods where I don't sleep at all. I don't mind them too much because I stay awake do to the fact that I'm just not tired. But I have a tendency to sleep for days and nights at a time, more than being awake for days and nights.
I'm just feeling frustrated with sleeping all the time. I'm already unmotivated as it is. But I can't even progress forward if I'm asleep.
now that i'm back at school it's gotten better. but it still takes me atleast an hour or two to fall asleep.
I hope you feel better, maybe a visit to your pdoc? Meds can truly help...xo
you can have a under active thyroid, or worse...... dont wait.
I'm not sure if she would be willing to put me on an antidepressant or not. I've wondered if it would help. Many antidepressants don't do anything for me and some make me manic. I love being manic but I'm not very productive that way. But at least while manic I was doing more than what I do now which is sleeping all the time.

I've been on serequol even at a low dose I slept two days straight and nothing woke me up not even my alarm. I woke up two days later very confused as to what day it was and what had happened. I remember waking up once when I tossed and turned and banged my head on the wall, but after that I went right back to sleep. Plus I can not be on most anti psychotics because they cause me to have breathing problems. I now only take anticonvulsant medications.
But thank you every one for your responses. I just wondered if I was alone or if any one else had experienced this.
