Yes, I always read the tabloid headlines while standing in line at the grocery store to pass the time.

I believe every word they write - including calculations for when Santa will arrive in every town, and how much the tooth fairy is paying these days.

No, I dont believe it and only glimpse at it while in the grocery line, like Angela. Honestly, I find some of it hysterical it is so obviously untrue. What I hate most is that, for profit, the tabloids destroy peoples reputations and sometimes their lives. Dragging inuendos out into the public purely for entertainment and profit turns my stomach. Oh, blah blah, I could go on forever, but WONT. lol

It just upsets me when I see or hear others talking about someone defamingly in public.

My grandmother always used to by them all, the enquirer, star, all of them. I find a little truth in some. Some you just have to throw away.

My grandmother sounds like yours, DY. She would go for groceries on a weekly basis and spend about 20-30 bucks on that crap.

They are great for helping divert eye contact with other shoppers.
