I was diagnosed with bipolar 2 about a year or two ago and ever since then I have questioned the diagnoses. I don't really have prolonged points of mania, I get a super happy, bubbly, and wanting to spend money mood for a few hours about 2-3 times a month. I do fall into deep hopeless depressions for weeks though. I just want to know if anyone else with bipolar feels like this or if I was just misdiagnosed.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
But usually hypomania lasts days, weeks, months if untreated.
Are you on meds? If you are and that has reduced that kind of behaviour then that might indicate that yes, it is bipolar because the specific meds used to control it are actually controlling it.
We can't tell you if you have been misdiagnosed though. I would suggest you get a second opinion.
