do you still do the small things if so then it will change at least it does for me i fell disinterested at time i go with it for a couple of days like a break hard to do but i think when the brain speeds up and does things fast it need time to just rest raised interst is bp thing to so if you are doing both that normal for you if it last to long do somethign talk to people even if it is about nothing just go with it let them lead the way for a while try to force your self in to an active but i would let it go to long because it could get worse

morrisbeal is exactly correct. The only thing outside of what he said is to suggest you tell this to your doctor. it may be as simple as tweaking the dose of your meds. :)

I agree with Kubla, you need to talk to your pdoc about this. You probably need a med change or tweek.

Anhedonia can be almost "painful"!! Call the doc, some meds do cause loss of interest. If you have been depressed, the anhedonia may just be residual from the depression and time will take care of it. Hugs

It must be a great relief to no longer feel suicidal, but for quality of life, your lack of interest needs to be addressed. There are a number of newer meds that may help elevate your mood, but which one is not easily predicted. Typically, only one-fifth of people with bi-polar are helped by regular anti-depressants. Lamictal has helped some, while Wellbutrin has helped others. I am on Cymbalta, which has made a huge difference in my interest in life. Your pdoc needs to decide what might work for you. Be patient, as it may take more than one trial to find what works.

Yes, it could turn out to be a Early Warning Sign for Major Depression, so you need to get onto it. I'd like at meds through the doc, but also speak to a therapist about practical things you can do, or mentally therapeutic things you can do to bring you out of this. Stop the slide before it happens.

We come to stages in our life, even after a deep depresion. I think it's our body that recuperates. Rest, if you need, sleep if you need to, I have been through this sor tof thing too. I cam eout of hospital from a very serious illness. I slept a lot ,but I decided I would go to the gym twice a week, doing very little, just getting going<
The I decided to write, and I wrote 50 000 words in a month ( chris Baty's system form his book "No plot, no problem") this really enthralled me, I did it and was so happy after this. Infact, I am going to participate into the Nanowrimo in November. have a look on their website, it might inspire you to do it, if not this year, next one, then.
