Maybe you could find a way to honor her every year by volunteering at a local women's shelter. Or making a donation to groups that help children in need. Trying to honor and celebrate her can help shift the focus away from the loss and onto what you gained from your time together.

also, if you can, you could write your daughter a letter telling her how you feel and how terribly you miss her....and go to her grave and read it to her....you could do this on every birthday, and on the holidays...or just when your heart is aching like it is now.... when we pour our feelings out on paper, it helps us greive, and you could make your letter in a little book just for her and you.....and going to her grave and reading it can be the manisfestation, or the outward ritual, for your greiving...i don't know if this will help....but i am thinking of you Regina...love, maggie
