Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

They do have DBT Self Help online you can look into but most people need the class to make it stick, in my opinion, from what I saw.
Good for you for having the openness and willingness to embrace new skills.
It would probably be beneficial for you to take DBT, it's a 9 month class for most. Your Pdoc can tell you where any are being taught in your area. They usually meet twice a week, and you usually have homework....it's not just sit and listen type of therapy, its "classwork" based Therapy, you have to learn it.
Good luck!
Mindfullness meditation and distress tolerance are big for me. Marsha Linnehan (sp) invented it as a way of dealing with her own cutting issues. I did a year long class and it helped me out of suicide as a coping mechanism.
