Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Watching our children go through traumatic stuff is so hard.
My thoughts are with you
(((BIG HUG))) You're both in my prayers, but 12 or 14 - maybe want to come home, or just fuck with the system.... The more doc's they sent me, the more creative I got .....
Breathe!!!!! Slow breathes.... this is not 100 years ago, there are many options and choices, professional help.....
But she is a good little actress bawling her eyes out. She doesn't want to go to the hospital is what she's saying but...
I think she likes the attention. She's always been acting out for attention. She cuts she threatens suicide and all kinds of stuff.
And yes she was fine over the summer. She can mention demons to highly religious people but can't tell her own mother. Well I guess that does make sense.
Perhaps the one on one attention that a hospital admission can give her can get her some of the help that she needs started and appropriate resources in place for her
Being in Juvenile or adolescent settings - us neglected, dejected, spoiled, and just bored or mean - well, we talked and taught each other everything...
I could have made a lot of bad choices, but I wanted work, independence etc, etc, other teenagers - not so much!!!!
Well, obviously, you need to be there for her in every way that you can!!!
What does the school want you to do? And/or what do they want to do?
Can you contact your doctors, therapists, etc., (assuming you're under the care of one or more health care professionals?)
Ask them what you should do for her.
Good luck to you and your whole family.
I hope you're daughter is okay soon!!!
(((((Hugs)))))
you keep breathing and posting!!!!
My heart and thoughts are with you as you go through this tough time. Good luck and let's keep hearing how she's doing! ((((HUGS))))
Try not to worry about what other people might think. If she gets the help now it will aid her in her future years. You can support her and love her like mom's do.
Sending you a big hug!
