This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Or just trying to meet someone.
The dating world was always rough for me. The guy would be really into me one day and didn't care for me the next. I never really understood that. It's like they could shut off their feelings.
Marriage had much more stability but no guarantees.
I'm trying to online on sites that is for people with mental illnesses. The only guys that seem interested live across the country or in a different. No local guys are biting. I've corresponded with a couple of the far away guys. Better than nothing. Now one of them isn't messaging me. I haven't been badgering him. I've been playing if cool.
I just want love! I don't necessarily mean romantic love. Friends to hang out with would have great. I haven't been on a date in years. I figured I would spend the rest of my own without a partner but I now I realize I'm better with someone as long as they weren't abusive.
Getting together shouldn't be this hard.

Mom and I have errands to run this morning. She said we can get sushi for lunch though. I go back to work today. What are you looking forward to this weekend?

Quick, before the evil MONday gets here! Let's climb those mountains, dance in the meadows, dip our feet in the ocean....Okay, so most of us won't be doing any of That. Sadly. But today can still be a great day!The area behind our back fence is on an incline, with less than two feet on even ground at the top. I don't balance well enough for the incline, but our mower guy mows that...

Thank you everyone. Hugs.
I'm struggling with my relationship right now, which is hard, too. I think it's important to be in the right relationship otherwise isolation and lack of support are still in play.
The only thing I can recommend is keep trying social things. Art class, looking on meetup.com for interests, keeping on keeping on. As for the bipolar aspect, I think there are probably understanding people out there, and I think we all need to remain hopeful about that.
Big (((((hugs)))))
To everyone else, thank you for your input. Hugs.
And I'm thinking...who cares?
Now I get it!!!
