Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
these constant episodes are becoming a problem that nobody is able to fix
the episodes are not that severe but the energy and the mild depression are too hard to control and due to the paradoxal effects they will not chane my meds
i get alot done but spend too much time on craft supplies and crafting i am awake all night then fall asleep for 2 hrs in the morning
this is taking its toll on my body i am not 21 yrs old so i asked the doctor if i could live to be 100 he said he did not know what my body can take so that would end the moodswings
just venting but would appreciate any feedback and suggestions

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

So we try again and again. And now I sleep a good 6 hours minimum every night.
I just don't get it. I feel you're leaving a lot out because your meds clearly don't work the way they should.
It took me time to find the right combo but I did and I've been pretty stable for a long time
If you think that you aren't finding stability after giving something a good shot maybe ask for a second opinion??….. Big hug.....xo
I'm on disability and often forget just how ridiculous drug prices are. I'm sorry if my questions made you uncomfortable. I understand now.
the doctor told me the insurance medicare and medacaid combined would not pay for it they do not have the money
when i was put on zyprexa it cost 1500 a month came to about 14,000 a year and they did pay for but they had the money
i really do not think the lamictal is the best but it does help with depression no suicide attempts for a very long time but it keeps me hypomanic most of the time
this np keeps asking me if i want more meds but once over medicated twice the max zyprexa and i was not any better so that is out more is not better and may cause serious side effects so there is really any new mood stabilizers to try i have to ride it out but i do have hypomania so on one hand it does not help but the depressions are milder best of both worlds i rather be hypomanic instead of depressed
thanks i am glad that understand better and no hard feelings i should have explained better i am experiencing depressed episode now not thinking very clearly but it could be worse been there done that
