This happens so much in life. I've noticed it many, many times in my life. They get a new boyfriend, you hang out like usual, then bam, all the sudden they don't have time for you. They devote all their time to each other is what happens and the friends drop off. She needs to make some time for you and will if she is a true friend. Hugs

I agree with proudmary. Perhaps being clear about your concerns to her? Make her understand that you're not trying to get between them, but at the same time, if you feel there is an issue, maybe you should say something?

On the flip side, while it may be a sad thing, you also have the option of moving forward as well. Easier said than done, I know.

my name is vader.I am 62 years old and this situation has happened a great deal in my life.I was friends with 5 people all of my life.This was during the 1960s when music,drugs and fashions ruled the waves.We were inseparable.We did everything together.Then one of my friends met a guy and that was it.Back then,a man was the head of the house and he was the center of the relationship.This created problems.I mean she was always with this guy.She took him everywhere.I mean guys,give up space.it is immature to be constantly together.Everyone needs friends and people have to talk about their problems to other people instead of you.How did it end? We all parted ways and I dont miss them.Life is more important to me then having a boyfriend...I mean my life is full of problems now and i cant afford no more.Guys like to be the center of attention,but here is one person who doesnt believe this and this has created problems,but no one is a god like person.People are human.Some people dont realize this and some people just want control like this guy.Who needs it? I think Mary has a good idea there...it might give him even if it's not deserved a chance to get to know you a bit better, but remember if you do not to act like the jealous best friend who is looking for a reason to break them up.
He might really care for her and feel threatened by you and your bond with her.
She also could just be really into the dude, i remember a boyfriend from way back I was so would up into him and fell in love with him that i always wanted to be near hm. It was nothing against my friends at all- It was just all so new to me and eventually I went back to having time for everyone not just him.

Was it smart maybe no but I was a kid still. I wouldn't take it personally even though I know it must hurt and you must feel bored without your trusty side kick... I've gone through this ;)

Unfortunately, I've been on the flip side of the coin. I moved in with my now husband and got a new job at the same time. I really didn't have much time to see one of my really good friends and it caused a huge rift. We had several arguments, but managed to work through it. She actually moved further away and since she moved we have actually seen each other more.

p.s. and if it really is him trying to just break up a friendship well then I say....smack a bitch. Put him right in his place lol XD
