Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
BUT DO IT ANYWAY!!!!
Work backwards from the finished product and break it down into steps.
Like, your first step might be, 'Gather necessary supplies, tools, and information.'
If even THAT seems like to much, break it down further.
'Get my T-Square.'
Don't just think of the whole, huge, overwhelming project.
Focus on what small thing you need to do right now and start with that.
It will distract you from focusing on your fear and will give you a sense of accomplishment and more confidence that you can handle this job.
Good luck!!!
Make it a good hospital!!! I might need to stay there someday!!!!

Eul is so right, its easy to get overwhelmed being bipolar. i might not be a clean person but if things get cluttered in my small space i get overwhelmed. her idea with your project sounds like a great solution. Bipolar, ya you will be hyper & depressed, but don't talk urself into it either. one step at a time. set urself a time limit on each *section* not the entire project at once.
good advice for everyone here :)
The hardest part of a project is usually starting it. I'm a graphic designer and work on projects still and the first step is definitely the one I procrastinate and drag my feet on - from there on out it's usually okay and do alright.
Could you virtually build it like with legos or the Sims or some other mockup mechanism that would let you play with the design before drafting. I'm probably sounding stupid - architecture isn't my area. Sorry. Best of luck to you
