Christmas Wishes

I wish I wasn't sick

I wish my friends hadn't all moved away

I wish I had a partner who loved me

These are my 3 christmas wishes.

It hurts knowing none of them will come true.

Does anyone's christmas wishes ever come true?

I did once 2yrs ago i got flown back home to be with my family, best Christmas ever, well ok i wish my dad wasnt sick, BUT at least i was there with him.

There's no harm in wishing and if our wishes don't come true it only means that it's not meant to be. There was a time I used to wish for a hot fudge sundae and it always came true!

I think that wishes can come true...sometimes it takes awhile...and it's almost always unexpected...and sometimes it's hard to know when they do...I hope you're feeling better soon.

Dear heretic . . . I wish you weren't sick as well and I wish I was not sick. I wish with all my heart but neither of us was sick. How amazing it would be to be ‘normal’.

But I would not give up on wishes. I think we should keep our hope alive and I truly believe that helps make wishes come true.

    I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

    Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner.  I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings.  But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!
