Censorship and DS

I've seen alot of people bitching and complaining about censorship on here. But I want to remind people that Daily Strength in a free site offered for people with Like grievances (in our case BP) to get together and discuss said grievances in a fun and safe manner. While I adored Pluck, he loved pushing the boundaries laid out by DS. I just wanted to put my thoughts out there.

I dislike censorship extreamly. Censorship on DS has been going to far lately. Leave pluck out of that equation for a moment please and look at it this way. Other friends are having art work pictures taken off their profiles because DS is now saying that it breaks terms of service. I have had a picture slide show about bipolar awareness taken off my pic and vid list. And a very good friend of mine has lung cancer was in the hospital last week and not even on DS and they removed her avatar. So answer this after you ponder for a moment. When does censorship go to far?

well it wasnt boobs or anything raunchy like that. It contained no profanity.

It does now. Here is a woman who is dealing with the anger of finding out she has cancer at the age of 51 and it possibly going into her lymphnodes and she comes back to DS drama rama! Censorship to the extream is wrong. If your going to censor part of DS to make it minor friendly then you need to censor it all. That would include removing the health sex and healthy relationships boards.

DS is 500+ groups with a huge range of numbers belonging to any one of them. Not enough staff is usually the issue. That's why they give us the option to report, it's too much for one team to handle. We have to be responsible ourselves. As far as the Drama, it's drama created for us by us.

sorry if someone whizzed in your wheaties this morning deb, but that's the way it is here. there are rules we have to abide by. If it doesn't suit someone, they have the CHOICE of staying and complying or find another site. Plain and simple.... the choice is up to you.
