Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I finally purchased it after years of asking my kids to get it for me. the resulting change in my mood is such a gift. I have so far had nine days in a row without one suicidal thought/push in spite of being in such excruciating physical pain (arthritis/fibro etc). Even if it doesn't last i will treasure this respite. it also has totally cleared up the IBS i was diagnosed with in 2008.
also had to share.
I also eat only anti inflammatory foods and am taking turmeric/curcumin supplements.
i will be back.
Hugs to all of you.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Now they're figuring out the people who can legally sell it
Still doing well on itI have had slumps but am able to redirect with distraction or relaxation breathing (sometimes even the panting taught during pre-natal classes which was of zero use during labour/childbirth!) and it is does not last long.
I remain astonished but I have to be very vigilant about tipping into mania, also helped by relaxation exercises and distraction.
I have been doing a lot of cleaning and sorting, even listing things on ebay to sell. I will have to learn though to stop in time because each time I push my body over the limits I end up unable to move for several days in pain.
No help yet with sleep but having lived with insomnia for so many years I do manage to get a good bit of rest with deep meditation during the nights.
weirdly, if I fall asleep before midnight I will usually wake up after about an hour and my body thinks it has had a night's sleep so that will be it until the next night. After midnight on a good night I sometimes manage to sleep for up to four hours straight. It is a restless sleep though because every time I move the pain disturbs me until it wakes me up completely.
I have an MRI of the Lumbar spine tommorrow which will give us some idea of arthritic degeneration.
I hope all of you are doing ok and i wanted to let you know you are never really far from my thoughts.
The pattern is that someone we don't know turns up and pulls up a thread which offers some kind of commercial possibility.
Then someone else turns up and posts a link (it's the same person really, just a different account). Or the same poster that pulled up the thread goes in and edits their reply and adds a link.
Jan or I spot it or someone reports it to us.
We then use a special tool to hide the reply, send DS admin the detail of the thread that was spammed, the spammers name, what they said.
DS then say they are investigating but do fuck all. And so on.
It's interesting to note that Jan and I have been doing the CL role much longer than any of the DS admin team and still they don't listen to our experience.
sigh.
It is officially legal in all the states except for Idaho, Nebraska, and South Dakota...but only CBD products that contain less than 0.3% THC. You have to get it from a reputable shop or Dispensary because not all CBD producers follow the less than 0.3% THC Rule and if you cross that line, then nope it's not legal Federally or on a State Level.
It was 1st legal only medically in Canada. Now it's legal recreationally as well.
Its not quite that easy here in the U.S. even though a State might have said Cannabis is Legal for recreational use, It's not legal in any State for recreational use on a Federal basis. Its a complicated issue when it comes to cannabis use.
Its still actually a complicated issue when it comes to Medical use. Most States in the U.S. still haven't legalized that.
