Think I'm manic. Had too much caffeine yesterday, can't sleep. Wrote a friend a very long message, told him I'd have to take an Ativan to calm down, still waiting for it to kick in. Tried to go to bed 3 hours ago, but got up 'cuz couldn't sleep. So decided to get online til I was tired enough to go back to bed. Problem? I don't want to go back to bed, I want to stay up the rest of the night. Anxious about dr. appts. this morning and tonight. 'sposed to get up at 5am, but changed to 6am, as 2 1/2 hours isn't enough sleep............................Ativan starting to take effect, as typing is getting harder to hit the right letters. Don't like my new photo, does anyone else? Think I'll have to get a diff. one later. But not tonight. Besides meds, what do others do to get to sleep when manic? Or do you sleep? Any ideas are welcome. Bye for now.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I wish it would all be as simple as counting sheep!
Hope you get sleep soon!
Caffeine stays in your system for 6-8 hours, so be careful about drinking it to late in the day. Also, if you have a prn for anxiety that will help slow your brain down it might help to take it. I hope you sleep better tonight. ((hugs))
Tend to stay up til 11pm, then go to bed, get up between 5-6am for 6am meds, then sometimes go back to sleep til time for 8am's and breakfast. Probably not enough sleep, but other residents so noisy where I live that there are numerous noise complaints pending in the asst. admin's office to be addressed, so I know that sometimes it's noise that jerks me awake, but not yet sure of the rest of the time. Sleep w/ fan running every night, and AC set to energy saver on 61 degrees, cycles on and off. So possible cycling from AC coming on/shutting off might be waking me up, too. Thanks for the ideas, really appreciate it. (Slept this am, with headphones on and walkman running in an open ear the whole time I was in bed, did get some good rest out of that).
