I can write this story because my friends story made the news lately.I havent seen him in many years.All I know is that he was having a rough time of it (like we all are) and he was being overwhelmed by money problems.I have had money problems all of my life and I have tried to make a go of it.But something happened to him and at this stage in life...noone knows...he aint at all saying.Why do men not talk? Why are they so silent? Cant men open up? Well...someone write me a letter and told me he was in jail and sent me the news clipping.It seems that his mother got very ill and needed surgery.Since she was laid off where she was she wasnt entitled to have her hospitalization benefits...she needed a heart operation and she needed it right away.Her health demanded on it,as she was quite ill.This 55 year old man who was somewhat strange did something that it
out of the ordinary...The first thing that he began to do was to rob the houses of well off people in New York and he only got the jewelry.Noone was hurt..he just was robbing.He would split the tab and go to Atlantic City...the second thing that he did was take the payroll where he worked.The boss (who was fired for doing this) gave him the 18,000.00.((t isnt the clerks job to deposit the money..it is the job of the night manager..but for some reason...he gave him the money) What would anyone of you do if you are down and out and someone gives you this kind of money? What would you do if you mother needed half the 18,000.00 for the operation? He didnnt know what to do anymore.He took the money.He gave the money to the doctor and took the other half and went to Atlantic City at the crap table where he blew all of it...he just didnt bother to go back to work.Noone discovered the theft at work.Noone knew.I guess noone cares what goes on with employees these days...but he is in jail and he may cop a plea...after that money ran out...he robbed a small bank? He was caught the nect day and requested a psychiaritst.They found out he was bi-polar and needed medication...can bi polar make you rob a bank if you dont have the proper medication? When I told people about this...they told me he was playing on my sympathy...what would you do?And is it alright to send him a card? And his mother had the surgery and in now on disabiity and she is mad about the money..she is furious.she wants him to pay the money back..do you think she is right?

I did threten to hit one of my coworks the other night but didn't. The manager sent HIM Home because he has been causing trouble with the other employees as well.
As Far As Steeling or Robbing Someone. It Happens and peole have motives for it.
Bipolar or not being a theif isn't something I want to be known as.
My neighbor(he is bipolar and had a drug habit) just did 30 days in jail for Breaking and Entering. He has been a theif for a long time(thankfully he has never stolen from me) any way ...He finally got caught
Hopefully he will clean himself up

I've done all kinds of crazy things...cold cocked men, crashed cars, yelled at police officers, had parties in the boutique I worked in after hours...
It's the high risk factor and gambling element in your friends crimes that to me reek of bipolar....
I guess the drunk excuse has been replace w BP excuse.
Maybe as liken to alcohol people are more apt to act out thier thoughts - which is thier choise and part of who they truely are.
LOL he'll get r&b and elect, gym & cable & use of ph service at no finanically cost to him but by his own choise that he had thoughout,lol.
The worst thing I ever did was ask a customer to pay for slim jim ( beef jerky ) and cup of coffee and cashier thought I was with that person who was charge for my items,lol. oh did I mention that include $10.00 in gasoline.
A friend of friend knew someone who knew the guy I had stuck w the store bill.
He wasnt upset about the beef jerky nor coffee just the gas and my waveing at him as I exited the store parking lot.
Dont feel bad for your friend they will provide him w pink cuffs and pink shirt & walk him up & down certain section of prison due to his true personality.
Many yrs ago I reconized my neighbor car on local news. he's a retired NY police officer,lol, ya he too rob a bank. Darn they didnt give me any reward monie.
Uh...am I missing something...he built up to it with high adrenline safe crimes, no? I've always thot being a cat burgler would be pretty fun in times of mania...but i'm a natural deliquent.
