It sounds like the relationship you have with your boss is pretty complicated, you've told her alot about you, she has control over you, you never know when her feelings might change....that can be a tough situation.
If you don't care about someone or truly care whether they're safe, better, healthy or not, then don't bother with the prayer. Doing something that causes you so much turmoil and irritation kind of takes the point away from what "praying" for someone means, and its just making you worse.
