Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Ms. Lorde also wrote something she called a biomythography-part autobiography, part fiction, part journal, part a lot of other things. I think writing this way gave her the space to do some of the work of journalling but with a little bit of emotional distance that allowed her to put her truths out there without crumbling under the weight of them.
We learn at first by imitation. Look at the poets and poems you admire most and the autobigraphies and memoirs of people you admire, the way they tell their stories may help you find a balance between your poetry and the kind of journalling you feel you need to continue to progress. And nothing says you can't write poetry into your journalling as well.
I confess, there was a person that I really disliked and who caused me a lot of pain, so I killed him/her horribly in my last book. *G*
For journaling you need to make sense almost all the time, say something that at least sounds clear.
For writing poetry you don't. You can jump over the language barriers and reality constraints.
You can write a poem about your self that not even you can fully understand. Isn't that more accurate and honest that write something in your journal as if you really know what your saying?
Today I chose to look for Love
The more I looked the more I found
The changing world full of fear is but a dream
The purpose of the dream is the awakening
Awaken to what is always there
Your Self
Love

Always there is what is searched for by the seeker
Looking outward at movie
When the screen is Life
