I have been in a relationship with someone for about 3.5 months. He is really great and I do not harbour any bad feelings towards him, but I simply don't think it is going to work. He is 13 years older than me (I am 21 he is almost 34) and he is also from a completely different country and has a completely different culture. I am still very much in love with him, but I think we need to break it off because I don't see this going much further. We have not been physically intimate (we have not even kissed) so there is not that layer to worry about. I don't know what to do. I hinted at him that we need to talk and we will do so tomorrow. I think he knows why I want to talk to him and so now he is all on his best behaviour telling me how much he likes me and everything. I want to be clear in my breakup that he didn't do anything wrong, it's just that we aren't right for each other at this point in our lives. Any advice?

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

You say, "You didn't do anything wrong, it's just that we aren't right for each other at this time in our lives."
Keep it short, to-the-point, and gentle. I think you're very wise to have assessed your situation, come to a conclusion and are mature enough to act accordingly. Good luck!!
Run, get over it date and break up 10 more times! I remember being in the same spot, I was 21 he was almost 40 - any way - we both cried when it was over.... and the next guy was 10 months, but still NOT worth moving in, or even thinking the M word..(if they're Ex-wife wants to kill him?) - not a good sign! Run faster LOL
Never settle, even with Mr. Right - life is hard, and relationships take work - so, don't stay once your KNOW!!!! There is nothing wrong with being single, and enjoying friends and dating! Not good if your ALWAYS in a relationship...
(((BIG HUG)))) The right thing to do, is always the HARD thing! If its easy, its short lived or wrong : )
Maybe later on when you're both older things will be different......
I always figured that to let someone go that I didin't care enough about or couldn't make it work was doing them justice.. So they can get on with their life...It helped balance any guilt I felt about hurting the person..xo
You can also emphasize to him that you want to prevent more pain by breaking it off now as opposed to making it more painful in the future by leading him on (that's not great wording but you know what I mean- basically, that you want to be fair and considerate to him and that you don't want to him to get attached if you have these big differences that can't be reconciled)
Good luck to you. Sounds like you're making a mature, difficult move but a right one.
