Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
The past few years have been hell for me,trying to find a med to stabilize me.It once got down to Pdoc talking about ECT.
Once I started on Depakote (around first of Oct)..my life has totally turned around.
I feel very funtional,HAPPY even.
But I'm also finding my tolerance for working with customers diminishing....my stability seems so precious to me,and one never knows how long it will last.
My energy and spirtual happiness is the best it's been in years.
I DO NOT want to waste this precious time on nagging self absorbed customers!
So,I find myself becoming very annoyed ,and out right confrontive with a bitchy customer. It's becoming very hard for me to face going to work,as much as I like my job(most of the time),the negative people who come in and spread their whineing ,complaining vibes...I'm not feeling like dealing with that anymore.
there are a few important lessons i have learned about bp and work. never tell your boss you are bp. avoid telling co-workers you are bipolar.
bipolar and work can be a godsend. being the most productive creative overachiever around.. or the worst.. a worthless lump of space who cant wait to go home because everything is pissing you off.
sucks having to deal with this shit on your own. not only that, but acting normal while new meds kick in.... i sware people notice you are on somehting new, but you can't share your enthuasiasm without raising suspicion.
