Im not sure if its that bi-polars are more commenly bi-sexual or if bi-sexuality is just becoming more popular- I've had sex with both men and women, I like sex with men more, but I have more fun with women (when Im SHITTY waisted anyway, never did it sober) Does that make me bi-sexual, gay, a free spirt? Im not sure right now, i am very confused with my sexuality at the current moment. With that said, I think a lot of women find themselves turned on or at the very least intrigued by the idea of another women, but supress it for the most part. I think for me at least, during my manic periods I tend to do things without thinking, or caring- Later however I found myself ashamed of my sexcapades.

Reflecting on what both of you said, I think I might be truly bisexual, as my attraction to both sexes exists when I am either manic, depressed, or in a "normal" state.

I'm straight but I do find other women attractive, not in a sexual way, but in admiring their facial features and physique, and wishing I could look like that.
I've always been sexually attracted to men.
I could imagine being gay easier than I could being bisexual. It must be a difficult way of living.
But then again, I have some transsexual friends. Men that believe they are women in a man's body and dress accordingly. To me, they are women. Sexuality is a complicated thing when you get right down to it. It's not as cut and dry as most people think.

I find saying that being person specific is better than saying bi-sexual. At the end of the day were all looking for love, not a penis or a vagina. Someone who is person specific does not discrimate against sex organs; they just want the one person that will love them for who they are and what they can offer to a relationship. I dont think being person specific makes your relationship life harder, in fact I think the opposite, it opens you up to finding an incredible person that you otherwise might not have found had you been so opposed to looking at life and love from a different perspective.
I think one is only bi-sexual if they arent looking for a relationship; they are only looking for sex and does not care whether they get there sexually jollies from men or women, as long as they get off. I would suppose that means Im a drunk bi-sexual. I have truly fallen in love with one women my whole life, and I never even had sex with her, but if she was gay, or open to the idea, you better bet I would make her mine and love her forever, and figure out a way to make love to her sober. I dont care if youre a man or women, I just want to find my happily ever after.

Gay men are gay because they like MEN ONLY- Lesbians because they like WOMEN ONLY- bi-sexuals dont care if they have either sex organ. But someone who just wants to find LOVE isnt in it for sex, or their body, there in it for LOVE-

No you didn't jump the gun. You gave your opinion and we all have the right to do that.

I don't believe that being Bipolar is correlated with being straight, gay or bi-sexual. Those things are related to our core characters and personalities. Characters and personalities are not related to mental illness, they are fundamental to us and don't relate to mental illness.

I say, if you and anyone else wants to explore whether they are straight, Bi or gay, go for it - it means you are explorijng what it means to be you and that means that you find out who you are, and live out your full potential as a human being and fully express yourself!! Viva La Difference!!
