Woman, you read my mind. Based on the research I've done our best bet is the IUD but I'm not so sure I wanna trust that

I find that the IUD is sort of an invasive procedure as well. I kind of just want to rely on condoms but those are not extremely reliable (if they leak, break, etc)

Anyone?

You mean you're looking for non-hormonal birth control?

-sponge
-female/male condoms
-vaginal spermicides
-diaphragm
-cervical cap

And the all time favorite....Abstinence!

I've been taking Depo-Provera for over 20 years and it doesn't mess with my moods - but it has been a long time and Depo has its own dark side - it makes bones more brittle over time.

And, it is a hormonal birth control method so it might mess with your moods.

IUD is becoming more and more popular.

It comes 2 ways. Wrapped in hormones or not.

They are much smaller than IUD's made in earlier years.

A Depo shot made me so depressed I ended up inpatient. I would use something else.

I don't know if you have considered the Nuvaring. I was on it for years and it didn't mess with my hormones.

I tried an IUD but bleed for 6 weeks straight and cramped so I had it removed.

Everyone is different so no telling what will work for you
