My 20 year old daughter, Aerial, has just been diagnosed with cyclothymia. A friend called it bipolar III. Is that so? Guess it doesn't really matter what it's called. I am diagnosed bipolar I with psychosis and can have mixed episodes at times. They say the cyclothymia can turn into full blown bipolar disorder. Jeez at the legacy I Have the potential to pass onto my children!! Have a good day everybody.

Woke up feeling very emotional and about to clock in at my place of employment. And can't place it all in writing but not been a good experience with my store manager or his boss. Defamation of my character is a concern. I've been losing appetite and weight. Trying to perform at work to keep myself from hospitalization as a result of toxic masculinity.
Hey, at least she is getting treatment early, early treatment is the best thing to keep it from escalating.

I spent some time reading up stuff and I did see the claim that 30% of cyclothemics end up as Bipolar - but it is Bipolar II - not BP1. Not sure if you have read differently but the several sources I saw said BP2 only. I didn't see anything about BP2 people going on to BP1.
strictly speaking cyclothemia is hypomania and depression but not major depression. Major depression and hypomania is BP2.
