Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I think i am going to the library tomorrow and wondered if anyone had any book recommendations about bipolar. Even though i've been dx'd for 10 years i realized after joining this group i am still learning about it.
Not looking so much for biographies or memoirs, but rather books for learning/understanding bipolar. I know i had bought a couple years ago but i must have gotten rid of them. :(
Thanks!

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. If you have BP2 you might look at "why am I still depressed?" by Dr Phelps. despite the poor title it is about BP2 and the title refers to people who take ant-depresants but they fail to work - one possibility being they have have bipolar. He has a web site here if you can't find it and the web site has alot of the same info for free.
