Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I must clarify from my "looking down the road post". It isn't that I don't have any money, it's just that I will be losing one of the benefits in July. My son gets survivor's benefit from ssa because of my late husband. He gets it until he turn 18 in July. After that it's just ssdi and my late husbands pension. The total amount of these 2 isn't big but isn't bottom of the barrel poor either. With prices now a days, I would have a slim budget. I would be a nothing fancy lifestyle which is fine with me.
I also managed open a savings account and put some money into a college fund for my son. This was something I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do when he was younger. Since living with his grandma, our expenses were less than before so that made it possible.
I'm sorry if I made things sound so exagerated before. This terrible disease makes my thoughts so blown out of proportion. My brain immediately goss to the worst case senario. It truly makes mountains out of mole hills. Do any of you experience the same?
Again, it will be difficult to find an apartment in my price range and I may need some assistance to do this. I know there are options out there. I, also, know I shouldn't panic so much before any happens. I've been working on being more mindful. It's not easy when you want to think one way an your brain wants think another.
I'm very sorry if I sounded misleading. I didn't mean to do that. I was just extremely stressed out and paniced.
I think you're a wonderful bunch here on DS and I care about you all.
Hugs.

Mom and I have errands to run this morning. She said we can get sushi for lunch though. I go back to work today. What are you looking forward to this weekend?

Quick, before the evil MONday gets here! Let's climb those mountains, dance in the meadows, dip our feet in the ocean....Okay, so most of us won't be doing any of That. Sadly. But today can still be a great day!The area behind our back fence is on an incline, with less than two feet on even ground at the top. I don't balance well enough for the incline, but our mower guy mows that...

Life throws a mean curveball!
And then if you toss a tad of bipolar, a dash of panic and a good sized helping of frustration, it becomes all the more difficult! When I first read your post, I felt connected and could totally identify with what you were going through. Just be the YOU that you are, that we all love, and vent away when you need to. Everybody needs a sounding board - I think DS is a great place to start! Big, gigantic hugs to you!!
Big Hugs for you!
I've been having a meltdown this morning applying for jobs repeatedly and suddenly I found some hope for an interesting position I just applied for, and I'm happy I stuck it out on my searching today depsite the terrible frustrations I felt earlier.
I think it's VERY important to vent, and reach out for support, and to be supported and to lend support when you can. I rely on DS and my friends here for this little community we have created together.
Keep working hard, and don't give up. Big (((Hugs))))
I'm so glad you are feeling better about everything.
Hugs!!!!!!
I will keep doing what I need to do to recover.
