I called my psychiatrist, got and filled my brand new first ever lithium prescription.
I was told that I would have to take this for the rest of my life. It has helped keep the extremes of my Bipolar at bay.

I so hope it works for me. I am putting great expctations on it. If half of it happens for me... I wish.
I just want less drama, and to be able to work. Is that too much to ask for?

I feel like shit.
Lithium is supposed to take a week or two for depression, much more for mood stabilization, and probably a higher dose, too. I hope I'm going to cycle out over the weekend (yeah, right), and then Lithium might start to take effect.
