I had gotten over stimulated yesterday and laid down for a nap. I didn't wake up until this morning.
After I got home from day group today I still felt out of sorts so my hubby offered to bake sugar cookies with me. They came out sooo good!
I almost did the icing too but I didn't want to chance attracting another batch of ants as we just successfully laid waste to the first group. That thanks to our local pest dude. :)
I'm happy about the way the cookies came out and will be bringing some to my old lady friend whom I affectionately call, "second momma".

I just baked too...

And I also had ANTS.

Kindred... or rolls eyes... pretty statistical. Someones baking somewhere worrying about ants RIGHT NOW.

(Chocolate chip, shortbread, peanut butter - cookies and fudge for christmas goodie gifts.)

my daughter's partner is canadian and he makes delicious cookies. i keep meaning to get recipes from him. it is not an irish thing but he tells me they are very simple. his mom is baking me a batch for christmas. i am really looking forward to them. she made me some pumpkin bread last year that was absolutely delicious....

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
