Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I went to visit my son's grandma yesterday. She told her caseworker will visit her on Wednesday. They are going to decide whether they were going to train me to take care of grandma at home of put her in a nursing home for good. The caseworker was susposed to get ahold of me but didn't. It sounds like grandma will be moving into a long-term nursing home. I knew it was just a matter of time.
As I said before I haven't really seen anyplace my son and I can afford and nobody has offered us a place to stay. This means living in the car for some time. I will try to get help through every agency until I get help. Right now all I can do is cry and nap. I feel ashamed of my self. I feel I made too many mistakes in my life that brought me here. I especially bad that a I dragged my son through it.
This subject is so hard to deal with, this why I didn't make more progress. I am very scared and I didn't know what I was doing. Of coars, I avoid the subject some because it triggered me. I did apply for housing in county that was excepting applications but that could take years to get help.
I'm sorry to ask this, I you think I deserve this, I need some companssion and comfort. We all need it no matter who we are. Hugs to everyone.

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

Well, good morning to you!Today is National Roller Coaster Day. Are any of you going? It's also National Tell-A-Joke Day! Come up with some and share!I'm not bright with jokes these days, but I'll start:"Today I ordered a chicken and an egg from Amazon...I'll let you know." :D

The First Thing you need to do is call the Dept of Social Services and tell them your grandmother is going into a nursing home and you will be homeless.
Thinking you will be in a car living is not likely, so just don't go to the negative place. What about your boyfriend, can you stay with him for a while?
I agree if at all possible to see a social worker please try...
I don't think anyone deserves these kind of circumstances and you have tried very hard pre-Covid and had a job. Above all else you need to take care of you! Get all the extra support you can...(((((hugs))))) None of this is easy.
Call your Pdoc ask him/her what programs they can help you with. There are many housing assistance programs available, but you have to get busy on Tuesday and start making calls and appts and filling out applications and working on a plan.
You'll have to make yourself get out of the funk and do it.
Thank you for all your great advice. My son's grandmas hasn't made a definite decision on if she's coming back here or going to a nursing home. If she does come back home, they'll want to train me to be her caregiver and pay me to do it. She said the caseworker was suspose to call me but didn't
We aren't in danger of being evicted because she gave me her part of the rent.
I will start work on find anther place on Tuesday.
