Hi all,
I am receiving ongoing therapy take my meds daily; So far so good.
I remember in my late teenage years/early 20s feeling angry in my depression sometimes. I want to say it's because I didn't know what was happening at the time meaning I didn't have a diagnosis.
I hadn't felt this way in a long time, can anyone relate to just feeling angry for no reason like I feel the tension in my face. is this a common BP2 emotion?

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

It made a lot more sense to me. Depression is supposed to be enervating, unable to move, do self care, etc.
Anger is more likely with hypomania. You need energy to be mad. But it is a very black sort of anger.
You might want to look into it more, talk to your pdoc about it. My pdoc had diagnosed me with it, but never bothered to tell me that is what it was!
I remember when I got my bipolar diagnosis in my late 30's. It was such a wonderful thing to have a name & an answer for all the ups & downs, and the craziness, and why I had to be committed when I was 22. I think my bipolar jumped out when I hit puberty, or a few years later, maybe age 12. So 25 years I had no answers. Some doctors refused to diagnose me, because they knew my father, and didn't want to make him look bad, in a town where he was a hero, and everyone knew him. I could have saved 15 years of getting worse if he had given me a diagnosis and some meds. Glad that is over!
