I went down to our gardens and took pictures this morning! (have to wait to load them - darn) (sharing with sister)

,..that may not be very 4th-of-July'y, but it Was fun. There's going to be a city-wide picnic later, but I may not go to that. We have a boardwalk that snakes back along the swampy area as the river twists and turns through the gardens...it's Very nice, though it's only about 3/4 mile total. I always enjoy wandering around down there. :)

I am taking the kids to the amusement park Busch Gardens

We are going to take our trailer, a bunch of teen aged kids(some of them ours) and a lot of food down to Huntington Beach to see the parade, swim, surf, have a bonfire and see the awesome fireworks show.

About a million people will be there and they shut down PCH (Pacific Coast Highway). It is a blast!

I am going to stay home with my family and enjoy each others company. My husband is off work and school over the weekend. So it is going to be nice to just stay home like this ^_^

California Central Valley Summers are brutal ....105 + temps all weekend.

One of my neighbours invited me to their party, so I went on the condition they didn't burn the union jack until I at least left lol! Loads of Americans live near me & I love their parties, especially Halloween.

change of plans!! did that already!!! slept in,watched Casey Anthony closing arguements.......wow what a trial. went for 6 mile walk and it was sooo hot. kids and dad left for ocean while i was gone and will probably stick around for fireworks. it was good to walk.came home to great shower and a/c tv and laptop.cant ask for better!!!except for barb b que food!!!!oh well!

Cooked some burgers on the grill.....watched a movie too today.

Drove by to check out the festival they are having in town but it looks like the rain drove most of the people away, though the band was there playing Country.....not into Country music wish it had been a Blues Festival instead.....oh well what can ya do.

Hoping the rain holds out long enough to get to watch the fireworks in a couple hours!!

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
