I accepted a part time job at a grocery store in the Apparel dept. I'm really looking forward to working there. There is just one problem. There is a glitch with my background check. I have never been arrested or been in jail. It could be getting confused with someone else.
My job coach and HR are working on it and said they may know something tomorrow.
I'm just beside myself with worry. I know that these background problems can be corrected be it involves a lot of complicated worked and can take a long time to resolve. This sort of stuff really stresses me out and that sends me straight into depression.
I'm so worried about what is going to become of me if can't get ahead because of the many obstacles around me.
My life has been so difficult and it doesn't seem to be getting any easier. I'm so worn out by it all.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

The fact that you have a job coach, and the store no doubt is familiar with having someone with you until you are on your own feet will go al Long Way.
HR might just be working out days and hours and the "paper work" to get you in the door...pain in the butt stuff!
Hang in there...all will work out as it should...think of how strong you've been to get to this place!!! Proud of you Jenn... you go girl!
Sometimes the details will get you down, try not to stay mired in them...
Having a job coach is wonderful! The road ahead will have bumps as you learn new things and work with new people. Time to enlarge the coping skills a little so that you aren't thrown into depression with every twist in the road...
You will do fine! But it will all be a little overwhelming at first...give yourself some space for that....
